Luminous

This renovation project reimagines the lower level of a modern duplex as a sanctuary of light, designed to dissolve the boundaries between the interior living space and the exterior landscape. A central feature of the architectural intervention was the structural expansion of the original fenestration; by replacing smaller openings with expansive, panoramic windows, the design floods the floor plan with natural daylight. This strategic alteration transforms the lush exterior greenery into a dynamic, living backdrop, establishing an immediate visual dialogue that anchors the home in nature.

To further emphasize the continuity between inside and out, the interior design employs a biophilic approach that harmonizes with the garden views. A sophisticated palette of dark wood paneling and polished marble flooring creates a textural contrast, while a black-framed glass partition maintains an open, airy flow.

The theme of nature is echoed in the details, from the sculptural leaf-motif chandelier to the integration of indoor planting, ensuring that the transition from the built environment to the natural world is seamless and organically integrated.
